This small apartment is perfect for being right in the centre of the old town in the midst of all the cafes and bars with lovely views from the tiny balcony. be aware that it will be noisy (people noise not traffic) at night during the summer, as life never stops and the bars are just below your window. it was fine with the balcony doors closed in winter, and we slept well. you can walk everywhere from here and the lake is stunning.

This small apartment was so cozy to stay at. It's balcony was a great place to enjoy coffee while watching the town go by, with views of the cozy village and canal on one side, and then the canal leading to the lake, leading to the mountains on the other side. It's in the center of a lot of shops. It's only a few minute walk to very good cafes, restaurants, bars, markets, and clothing stores. I could not recommend this place more highly, my wife and I absolutely loved it here. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Excellent location, perfect to get out into the old town with lots of bars and restaurants. Close to the lake and train station both 5-10 minutes away. A couple of negatives on the apartment, the main rainfall shower head didn’t work, so we had to use the standard shower but didn’t have anywhere to connect this; meaning one hand had to hold the shower. When we arrived if felt like the floors were quite dusty, as if the floor hadn’t been hoovered, also the vents in the bathroom and toilet were full of dust which came as a surprise as we paid a substantial amount on a cleaning fee. The host requests for bedding to be stripped, the duvet and pillows to be tidied away as well as rubbish being taken down and washing up of all pots were met (all small tasks after paying a cleaning fee). No hand wash or washing up soap in the bathroom and kitchen, besides a small bottle filled with water. It feels like a few basic requests from the host weren’t met with the equipment to action.

Très beau logement et très très bien placé au cœur de la Vieille Ville d’Annecy, avec une superbe vue sur le château et le tout le reste. Très charmant. Hôte réactif et sympathique je recommande vivement ce logement qui est superbe. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour sur Annecy

Wow, what an amazing spot… the view and location cannot be beat! Stepping out of the door onto the canals makes it easy to explore and feels like you’re in the heart of it all! The apartment was clean and comfortable for just me, and the host left a bottle of wine for me to enjoy which was a special treat! Would definitely stay again!

Absolutely stunning place in Annecy. The view and location cannot be beat - we spent several evenings eating dinner on the little patio, because you honestly can’t beat that view at any of the surrounding restaurants. The place was a little short on amenities (no hand soap, shower essentials, or cooking oil/salt), but it was easy enough to grab those at the nearby Franprix. It was also quite warm despite the AC, but we were there during a high heat streak, and the large doors opened wide to let in cool morning air. Very easy check in, glad they had a washing machine, and a very comfortable bed. Above all else - the concierge was very friendly, helped us book an extra night last minute, and had very clear instructions. Highly recommend!

The apartment was a good size, very clean, and in a great location. The main downsides were: - The AC was of poor quality, when we arrived the place was like a sauna and took over a day to cool down! It was 30 degrees outside and inside when we arrived. To cool the place down our only option was to have the blinds fully closed all day - The staff on check in were super helpful, however we dealt with someone else when messaging about the AC who was fairly unresponsive, unhelpful, and uninterested in the problem - There were a few basic amenities missing - there was no soap, only one bowl, and a lack of pillowcases which didn’t feel very hygienic

A view over a mediaeval town and a chrystal clear canal that would be hard to beat! We absolutely loved our stay here and the property is ideally placed for both town and lake activities. Fantastic restaurants and bars nearby and a wonderful, lovely town atmosphere. Boat trips on the lake and cycling around it are just some of the activities we enjoyed that were practically on our doorstep. The accommodation was modern, clean, comfortable and cannot be beaten for location. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We waited nearly an hour after check in for the host to let us in. We tried several times to contact them while we waited but they were unresponsive until we got Airbnb support involved. The host also informed us that as a matter of practice they don’t make the bed for you and don’t provide hand soap for the bathroom. There was a lot of dust, gunk on the shower floor, and cleaning needed on the walls of the toilet closet and kitchen drawers. There were also large brown stains on the sheets and comforter. They did not seem prepared for us to stay or adequately stocked on essentials. We were provided only one squished, partial roll of toilet paper for our three night stay, and had to go to the host’s office across town two times to get additional toilet paper (when we went the first time, they could only give us one roll). They also forgot to provide us with pillow cases, but delivered them after we checked in. View was very nice though.

Dear Rachael, You clearly did not enjoyed the apartment except the view. Thank's to our previous guests you will be able to see that the apartment has always been tidy and perfectly cleaned before arrival. As we have a foldable bed that can also be used as a sofa, we clearly prefer to let you enjoy the sitting area before opening the bed, which is very easy to do at night. You requested hand soap because you did not want to use the classing shower gel instead. Unfortunately we do not have any in our stock. I hope our other apartments will better suits you next time !

Annecy, alliant charme avec marché de Nöel et ambiances festives vaut le détour
Positive: Disponibilité et accueil de la personne qui nous a amené les clés; L'appartement est petit mais fonctionnel et fournit avec l'équipement nécessaire. La situation de l'appartement au centre de la vieille ville avec vue sur un cours d'eau et le chateau (très bucolique) est un atout incontestable. Negative: Le rapport qualité/prix. Nous étions à une période très froide. Le chauffage de la salle de bain (sèche-linge uniquement) n'a pas suffit à chauffer la pièce. La connection à internet était tellement faible que cela équivalait à aucune connection, y compris pour la TV. Malgré nos remarques, pas d'intervention effectuée (période du weekend). Le sol/plafond mal isolés ont eu pour résultat de se faire réveiller tôt par les pas de la famille logeant au-dessus de nos têtes.

Bonjour Anne, Nous sommes navrés pour ce désagrément, nous avons pas mal de problème de connexion, nous faisons de notre mieux pour la rétablir la plus vite possible. Cependant, l’emplacement de l’appartement ne garantit pas un calme de jour comme de nuit. Néanmoins, nous espérons que vous avez passé un bon séjour.
