    Positive: Très bien situé presque en bordure de lac. Tout accessible à pieds (courses, visites...). Parking public couvert à 3 min à pieds. Negative: Attention à l'escalier très raide. Ne pas louer cet appartement si vous n'êtes pas en bonne santé ou si vous avez trop de bagages/

  23. Emplacement calme et top mais logement très sale

    Positive: Emplacement au cœur du vieil Annecy. Appartement bien équipé (machine à laver, lave vaisselle...). Pour un emplacement au cœur de la ville touristique et des restaurants, l'appartement est très calme Negative: Déjà il s'agit d'un 4ème étage sans ascenseur avec vieil escalier étroit en colimaçon. Autant dire qu'avec des valises c'était pénible. Ce n'était pas précisé dans l'annonce. La propreté était quasiment inexistante (voir photos). Poussière partout, couche épaisse de poussière sous les lits. Toiles d'araignées dans tous les coins, souris dans l'appartement à notre retour de promenade, paire de chaussette derrière la télé. Correspondant averti (il s'agit d'une conciergerie et non par un hôte) qui nous a proposé le remboursement des frais de ménage + 10% de la première nuit. Un couple est passé faire le ménage mais ils ont effectué le minimum étant limités dans le temps (poussière tjrs sous le lit à notre retour )

  25. A stunningly decorated 4th floor flat in the heart of Annecy - ideal location to visit town on foot.

    Positive: This flat was beautifully decorated and in the heart of Annecy on a pedestrian street. We were able to park the car in a nearby secure underground car park. The shower was good and the flat had all we needed. The location was excellent to see everything on foot (and enjoy the 14th July fireworks from the velux window). Windows open over the main street, so it feels like you are in the heart of the town, but being on the 4th floor meant we got good light and privacy, without problems of mosquitoes. It comes close to a 10/10 for us, with only some minor issues bringing it down to an 8. Negative: The property is not located where the Booking.com map suggests (by the Castle). However, the location was even better (Rue du Pâquier,). Being a top floor flat means 4 flights of narrow, winding stairs to climb, with the last flight being uneven wooden steps. Not suitable for mobility issues and take your time with heavy luggage. There is no air conditioning in the flat, but there were two good quality rotating fans. We kept the blinds closed during the day to keep the heat out and survived the hot nights. Keys are collected from the restaurant/bar nearby. However, we were given 7 different keys for some reason (we only needed 2 doors to unlock) and we spent a long time trying to get into the flat by trying every key. Street is very noisy, but this is to be expected and we enjoyed the bustle of it all. There is a TV but it didn't work.

    The location was absolutely sensational. Lots of stairs, but not a problem for us (family of four, kids 6 and 9) but it is worth noting that there is lots and lots of stairs which would be difficult for travellers who are less mobile. Being right in the heart of the old town was superb. Listening to the sound of the charming streets below while we drank our morning coffee was a highlight. The amenities were excellent - very well equipped kitchen, we cooked at home many evenings and had every utensil and appliance we could think of. Nespresso pod machine was excellent too for our early morning coffees. So many excellent restaurants in very close proximity - spoiled for choice! The soft furnishings were lovely, very homely, very French, very charming. Annecy was a superb destination - we swam, hiked, biked, boated, shopped, wined and dined - a wonderfully charismatic town with majestic natural surrounds. Would highly recommend.

    The flat was in a fabulous location and great space for a small family (I was traveling with my two nearly grown daughters). Walking distance to everything. Lots of narrow stairs to get up to flat, but that was made clear in the listing and we didn’t mind it at all - pretty typical in European walk ups. No AC (again very typical in Europe) but we did manage to be there for an unseasonable heat spell and it was very toasty! Flat does have great sun shutters and keeping them buttoned up all day helped with the temperatures when we returned in the evenings. It was a bit noisy in the evening for sleep, but we were happy with the location so a fair trade off.

    Positive: très bon emplacement, spacieux. on s’est senties les bienvenues. le contact avec Lodge rental était au téléphone très bien et empathique. Negative: les lits n’étaient pas tres comfortable. pas d’ascenseur, donc très compliqué pour monter avec des valises. qu’une jeux de clefs disponible.
